He likes school now. It isn't my dream, he probably won't make lifelong friends at a military school, and I still feel like I'm
dragging him along my path. I wish he could have his own school and that it could have been Waldorf, but Seaside really disappointed us.
I do love have having him at my school and seeing him during the day though.

2 weeks of hell
The end of my dream and his nightmare... Luke will be changing schools this week,Seaside Community Charter School turned out to be a nightmare for him. A waldorf school is not made by beeswax crayons and wooden furniture. He needs to feels loved and secure and have a teacher worth imitating. He is imitating a stressed out, unsure behavior everyday. He used to love school and now he is acting out and hates it. He asked for new clothes where no one could see him for his new school today. :( And no one there wants to do anything besides chastise him and blame him. And then there's the bruises and more bruises that no one notices or cares about because he was acting out. My baby will be loved, cared for, and noticed when injured at school. Not at SEASIDE!

Last summer of baby
In some ways I feel this is the last summer I will have my baby:( Luke is growing so independent and smart everyday. Starting kindergarten will be the next step in his development into kidhood! I know he will always be MY baby but I can really see his babiness slipping away this summer. Ahhh.
